6 Principles of Surah al-Fatiha

“Allah [the most exalted] calls the one WHO opens the Qur’an to the basics of tazkiyah [purification and development of the soul] by starting with some necessary principles of success that begin with the statement: “It is You alone we tend to worship” till the top of the surah.



The First Principle:

Abandoning associating partners with God or denying any side of His existence and unlimited powers is found within the statement “It is You alone we tend to worship.”



The Second Principle:

Abandoning any thoughts of being free/ from Him and happy while not Him [the opposite would be to feel impoverished to Him] and thinking that one was freed from His power and would possibly. This principle is found within the statement it's You alone we tend to see for facilitate.”

Translators Note: the students wont to say, “Oh my Lord! Enrich Maine by creating Maine impoverished to You and don’t impoverish Maine by rental Maine feel I’m made while not You.”


The Third Principle:

Hope and aspirations for steering and uprightness. this can be found within the statement, “[we beg You to] Guide U.S.A. to the straight approach.”



The Fourth Principle:

Aspiring to follow the individuals of noble virtues and glorious character. This is found in “The approach of these WHO you have got blessed.”



The Fifth Principle:

Concern for security from misguidance. this can be found in “[we beg You to guide us] not the approach of these who’ve earned wrath.”



The Sixth Principle:

Concern for the protection of one’s thoughts from being mixed with doubts ANd falsehoods that dilute the reality that is thought as misguidance as a result of misguidance could be a mistake in making an attempt to succeed in an objective. this can be found within the statement, “[and we tend to beg You] not [to guide us] the approach of these WHO area unit wide.”
